Honorian decorations

The section shows the walls of Aurelian and Honorius, on which a palmette made of bricks is still visible, part of those designs (palmettes and rays) and Christian symbols (crosses) made by workers during the construction of the walls in the time of Honorius. Casts of these decorations are preserved in the Museo delle Mura. Traces of Aurelian battlements can also be seen on the elevation.
