Since the late 19th century, this section of the Walls has housed the Scuola d’Arte Educatrice, founded by Francesco Randone (1864–1935). The school preserves significant historical and artistic testimonies, including original furnishings and works by Randone and his pupils. Appointed Conservator of the Walls in 1894, Randone’s studio became a gathering place for writers and artists such as Giacomo Balla, Giovanni Prini, Ettore Ximenes, and Maria Montessori.
