Descending along Via di Porta San Pancrazio, the course of the Walls can be identified in the boundary wall of Villa Corsini, now home to the Botanical Garden. The wall, which has been heavily restored, no longer shows any traces attributable to the defensive walls. At the end of the steps is a plaque of Pope Gregory XVI, to whom we owe a restoration of the wall structure in 1846. From here onwards, the walls run their course inside the Botanical Garden and private property as far as Porta Settimiana.
