From the Lungotevere it is possible to see the last of the towers preserved after the demolition for the construction of the Tiber embankments. The tower is preserved to its full height and now has a modern roof. In the upper chamber, eight windows and the two passages with a prothyrum [vestibule] that gave access to the upper walkway are still preserved. The interior of this tower, heavily altered in modern times, cannot be visited at present.
